According to TAFL's definition, a fanlisting is “a web clique that lists fans of a particular subject. Unlike most web cliques, a person does not need a web site in order to join. Why have a fanlisting for Vash? Well first of all, he's one of my favorite characters ever, and has been ever since I first watched
Trigun years ago. He's just awesome! I love complex characters, and Vash is definitely one of the deepest characters you'll ever find. He can be silly, badass, weepy, and philosophical all in the same episode. Overall he's a genuinely good person with a heart bigger than his hair and a reputation that gets him into more trouble than one season can cover.

NAME: Vash the Stampede (real last name unknown)
NICKNAMES: Spikey, Needle-Noggin, The Sixty Billion Double Dollar Man, The Humanoid Typhoon, The Legendary Gunman.
AGE: 130 (132 at the end of the series)
GENDER: Male
RACE: Half Plant, Half Human Hybrid
PROFESSION: An outlaw (not by choice) and ace gunman who just can't keep out of trouble.
FAMILY: Millions Knives (twin brother, psycho extraordinare) and Rem Saverem, Vash's mother-figure.
APPEARANCE: Vash is tall, over six feet, with blonde spikey hair and shining aqua eyes. He has an earring in his left ear and a small mole under his left eye. His left arm is prosthetic, having been lost in battle and the rest of Vash's body is covered with scars and metal, the prices he has paid for not killing his opponents. His usual attire is a long, red trenchcoat with a large collar, with a dark brown and blue bodysuit underneath.
WEAPON(S): Vash has a custom Colt that was made for him by his brother, it holds 6 bullets. His prosthetic arm also doubles as a gun which he uses only as a last resort. His third gun (it makes the 'Tri' in 'Trigun') is his angel arm, in which his Colt is used as a trigger and his entire right arm morphs into a giant angel-looking weapon, which has a large barrel, and the center is a ball of light. The power is great enough to bore a hole into the 5th moon and decimate two towns on Gunsmoke.
PERSONALITY: Vash is a happy-go-lucky kind of guy, but he can become serious within the blink of an eye. He hates death and suicide and goes out of his way to save human life. Sometimes, he pretends to be happy, but it's usually a mask to cover the great pain at his past and what must happen in his future. Vash has a very complex personality, but is most often seen as the goofy guy we all know and love.
MISC. INFO: Vash is a donut-a-holic; donuts are his favorite food. He's also a lighweight when it comes to drinking; he gets drunk after a couple drinks and puts a tie around his head. He's being mysteriously followed by a black cat, dubbed Kuroneko-sama.
